- ICAR AIEEA UG is an annual exam conducted for admission to 59 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticulture or Fishery universities, 5 ICAR Deemed University and 5 Central Universities and other participating institutes.
- By the means of ICAR admission process, the student will be admitted to 11 B.Sc. Program having duration of four years.
- Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible to appear in ICAR Exam student must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
- Age: Between 17 to 23 years
- Nationality: Indian
- Academic qualification: Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in PCM or PCB.
- Application: Admission applications will be accepted either online or using OMR application form. The OMR application form can be obtained by post, or from Registrars of Agricultural Universities or from authorized branches of Syndicate Bank.
- Application fee: ICAR applicants belonging to SC/OBC/ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 250 while general category applicants and all others should pay Rs. 500 as application fee.
- Exam Pattern: ICAR exam will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and will consist 180 multiple choice questions i.e. 60 questions from each Agriculture/ Mathematics /Biology, Physics or Chemistry.
- Admit Card: The admit card of ICAR 2016 exam will be made available online and no other means will be adopted to get the admit cards delivered to the students. The admit cards can be printed by students after entering their details on the website.
- The exam is scheduled for April 09, 2016.
- Result: Once the exam is done, the result will be published in official website and candidates will be able to check their result by entering their Registration number and password.
- Selection: The candidates will be offered seats in the college & courses specified by them on the basis of their performance in the ICAR 2016 entrance examination and real-time availability of the seats in the institutes.
